Mary Fikes
Mary is a watercolor and ink artist based in Sebastian, FL. After a career in Medical Speech-Language Pathology, she travelled about in her RV enjoying life. Retirement gave her extra time to learn to play piano, grow milkweed for monarch butterflies, and take watercolor classes.
Inspired by the beauty of the natural world, Mary paints to capture light, color, and detail found in God’s creations. Her work blends gentle washes of color with expressive ink lines, offering a fresh and uplifting view of nature’s quiet wonders.
Through each piece, Mary seeks to share the peace and joy she finds in her surroundings, creating art that reminds us of the simple gifts that reflect God’s love.
Mary believes her talent is a gift from God, which creates an opportunity for her to serve Him with her love.
