Mary Segal

Mary Segal is a painter, printmaker and mixed media artist. Her work is in numerous private and public collections, including the Sackner Archive (Miami Beach), the Vero Beach Museum of Art and Florida Museum (DeLand) and it has been featured in 26 solo exhibitions and more than 50 invitational and competitive exhibits throughout the U.S.  

A National Endowment for the Arts grant winner, Mary has been a resident fellow at Centrum Foundation in Port Townsend, Washington and Hambidge Center in Rabun Gap, Georgia. She earned a BA in Studio Art and Art History from Brown University and has studied at RISD, Akademie of Fine Arts (Munich, Germany) and Laguna College of Art (Laguna Beach, California). Since 1987, she has been a faculty member at Vero Beach Museum of Art and she has taught workshops throughout Florida and in New Mexico and Arizona.

Mary is an avid gardener and often incorporates dried flowers and other botanical
materials in her paintings and prints.
